Why SPF Matters Year-Round (Especially in Summer)

Understanding SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is key to maintaining healthy, radiant skin. The SPF number on a product indicates how well it protects your skin from UVB rays, the main cause of sunburn. For example:

• SPF 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays and allows for roughly 300 minutes of sun exposure before burning.

• SPF 50 blocks around 98% of UVB rays, offering even stronger protection.

Keep in mind, no sunscreen blocks 100% of UV rays, and reapplication every two hours is essential—especially if you’re swimming or sweating.
